Software Engineer

1parkplace is a company which provides software, as a service, to the real estate industry. The primary focus of 1parkplace is to provide quality software, as a service, to the real estate agent to generate new leads through 1parkplaces’ home searching software.

As a senior member of the 1parkplace application development team, your main responsibility will be the design and development new applications as well as expansion of functionality for existing products.  This is a dynamic role that will be heavily involved in the entire Software Development Life Cycle and requires interaction with the entire organization.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 3-5 years enterprise level development experience using C# and ASP.NET
• Familiar with creating and consuming WCF Web Services
• Experience with the ADO.NET Entity Framework
• Strong SQL skills including design, optimization, and stored procedure creation/modification
• Proficient with client-side coding:  HTML, CSS, JavaScript (exposure to JQuery libraries)
• Exposure to source control:  Microsoft TFS and Subversion
• Strong analytical skills.  Must be able to work through entire SDLC process with minimal direction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization as well as customers.
• BS in Computer Science or related technical program

• PHP experience
• WordPress Plugin Development
• Work with Model/View/Controller architecture
